Our Programs

Whatever the challenge or difficulty, we work with our clients to resolve their crises and improve their quality of life.  We assist them in locating and connecting with the support they need and provide encouragement to rise above life's difficulties.  Whether the need is financial, employment, training, food, housing or other needs, we can get you headed in the right direction to get on the road to recovery.

Our community is full of people who want to help. We work to help the people providing services connect with the people who need them, and vice versa.

If we cannot fulfill your needs, we will help you find and connect with an agency or organization that can.  We work together with community organizations, churches, businesses and individuals to serve the needs of our neighbors.

At Starting Point Outreach Center we believe that it is not enough to just help with a financial burden by paying a bill for a client.

We want to help low and moderate income families learn how to become self-sufficient.  We offer financial skills classes and mentoring to help prevent further financial hardships.

Provides teens with life-on-life mentoring relationships with caring adults through life skills classes, social activities, tutoring,  and community service opportunities.

The Girl's Closet program provides teen girls with personal care items that their families may not be able to afford.  Teen girls can

come to Starting Point and obtain items that they need for

themselves, including feminine products, personal hygiene items,

even a little makeup.  The Girl's Closet is kept stocked by the generous donations from our community churches, organizations and individuals.

 Everyone needs a spiritual relationship to complete them.   We also need spiritual support to get us through life's difficulties and anxieties.  We believe that a relationship with Jesus Christ fulfills this need.  Starting Point provides prayer, Bible Studies and mentoring to help you develop your relationship with God.
